Rwanda is a small, landlocked country located in East-Central Africa. It has a population of 11.78 million people. It is the home of the Twa, Tutsi, and Hutu people. There has been a history of ethnic clashes in Rwanda, but none as bad
as the Rwandan Genocide of 1994.

When Was Rwanda Colonized?
Rwanda was colonized by Belgium shortly after the end of World War I. In 1916, Belgium was granted permission by the League of Nations to govern a property known as "Ruanda-Urundi".
